As governments and financial institutions continue to explore appropriate regulatory frameworks,a balance must be struck between fostering innovation and providing adequate oversight. This paper explores the challenges and opportunities surrounding Bitcoin regulation, with a focus on the tensions between innovation in cryptocurrency technology and the need for financial oversight and consumer protection.
